The Upper West Side is located from 110th Street to 59th Street between Central Park West and the Hudson River. An upscale, mostly residential area perfect for renting a furnished apartment, the Upper West Side is host to many of the cities greatest cultural attractions. The Lincoln Center for the performing arts is a big part of the attraction to the Upper West Side. Starting from the south we have Columbus Circle which is a hub for shopping and dining with a great view of the southern end of Central Park.

The Upper West Side houses many of the large music companies in New York City including the Metropolitan Opera House, Avery Fischer Hall where the New York Philharmonic rehearses, and the New York State Theater home of the New York City Ballet and the New York City Opera. There is also Dizzy'z Coca-Cola Nightclub which features Jazz at Lincoln Center.
