New Warzone bunker locations - where to find the WW2 bunkers

Warzone bunkers are back for Season 6, with new bunker locations spread out all across the map, incorporating hidden new underground labyrinths from the s, full of weapons, loot and more. But where to find these new bunkers in Warzone? These new Vanguard themed spots offer both a place to hide and acquire special gear, as well as likely give hints about what to expect from Call of Duty Vanguard.

It's worth mentioning at time of writing that these new bunkers in Warzone aren't as busy as you'd think, though it's possible that this will increase as more players find out about them. However, because they're full of nothing more than loot, it means that there isn't a huge advantage in getting to them second or third when all the money's gone and the best guns are taken. Still, they can make for a good place to take cover, stand against opponents, or even camp, if you're not too picky about pride. Read on to find all the Warzone bunker locations, and how you can actually get inside them.

Warzone new bunker locations

The new Season 6 update has added three new Warzone bunkers to the map, with entrances that can be found at the following locations:

  1. East of Airport
  2. North-East of the Array and South of Salt Mine
  3. North-East of Boneyard

Each Warzone bunker has two entrances, and they're always marked by the same things - one is always a rappel point under a series of stacked red shipping containers, and the other is a small fissure in the ground that players can drop down through to reveal a set of descending stairs. Each bunker has these two connections to the surface world, and can only be accessed through these points.

This means you'll need to find one to get inside - likely the red containers, as they're a lot easier to spot from a distance. The map images we've used below will show you the locations of the red containers specifically, though we've also explained where the fissures will be in relation to them.

Airport bunker location

The first of these bunkers is on the East side of the Airport, the containers visible at the far-right end of the runway, just past the tarmac and on the grass. The fissure, meanwhile, is a little South-by-Southeast of that, marked on the map by a cluster of rocks and closer to the roads.

Array bunker location

The Array bunker is to the North-East of the main structure, in a relatively nondescript bit of grassland overlooking a road with the Salt Mine area further to the North. At least, that's where to find the red container entrance - to find the fissure crack, you need to cross the road and keep going North-East to the South side of the little cluster of buildings beyond.

Boneyard bunker location

The Boneyard bunker is very easy to spot, going by the red container structure. Simply leave Boneyard by any of the Eastern entrances, and it's about halfway up, just between Boneyard and the cluster of warehouses to the North-East. The fissure is further in that direction, basically on the opposite side of the nameless warehouses, and surrounded by a cluster of trees that partially obscure it.

Warzone bunker codes

For those expecting to need some sort of code to get inside the Warzone bunkers, you'll be pleasantly surprised, as they're open to the public, no password or special knowledge needed. One entrance is a rappel point and the other an unlocked door, so you can get inside without any additional struggle.

At time of writing, the Warzone bunkers don't have anything that'll set the world on fire, but they do have the usual stuff you'll want while playing - chests, loose guns, money, ammo, equipment and so on. It's not any better than the regular gear pool, but there's a fair amount of it to be found, so it might be worth checking out if you're close and think it might be safe.

All Warzone bunker locations for Verdansk &#;84

Following the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3, players have been enjoying the new Verdansk &#;84 map, along with all of its new features. This is the most substantial update Warzone has received, giving us a revamped map, new weapons, and lots of bug fixes across the board. Since its release in , Warzone was home to many secrets, most notably its bunkers that were scattered around the map, requiring a red access card, key code, or another method to enter. Some of them contained secrets that tied to the overall lore, while others simply had loot that would give you the upper hand during a match.

With the launch of Season 3, you might be wondering if the bunkers are still there, and if so, how to access them. All of the numbered bunkers (00 to 11) are in their exact locations as before, though you aren&#;t able to interact with them at this time. Likewise, the separate bunkers that previously required an access code are either inaccessible or nowhere to be found, such as the hidden room that used to be in Farmland (now replaced by the large building from the Standoff map).

Other aspects like the Morse Code used to access bunker 11, as well as the bunkers that were added later on (like at Airport or Military Base), have been removed. For all intents and purposes, Warzone&#;s bunkers have been reset during Season 3 and will likely expand as time goes on (just like last year). For now, you can still visit each main bunker, though you cannot enter them just yet. Still, let&#;s take a look at which bunkers remain and where to find them.

What&#;s in the bunkers?

Previously, bunkers would contain lots of loot, including orange and blue chests, killstreaks, and even a chain gun. Before Season 3, you&#;d need a red access card to get into these bunkers, which would randomly spawn from a chest in the world. As we approached Season 3&#;s release, these red access cards stopped spawning. Now, following the update, you are unable to enter any of these bunkers. If you try to interact with the keypad, it won&#;t give you a prompt, indicating they&#;re currently offline.

Though you shouldn&#;t be worried, as Warzone is an ever-changing battle royale. It&#;s likely Raven Software will implement a new way to enter these bunkers, whether it be via access card, keycode, or Easter egg, like before. It&#;s also possible new bunkers will make an appearance, so keep your eyes peeled for future updates.

Once the bunkers are accessible, we imagine you&#;ll be able to find loot just like before, but there might even be new features added that correspond to the overarching narrative of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. For now, sit tight, and you&#;ll probably be able to access the bunkers soon.

Full map of numbered bunkers on Verdansk &#;84

Above is a new map of all the bunkers that are present during Season 3. These are the main bunkers that first kicked things off in Warzone last year, and fortunately, they have not been altered in any way (aside from the fact that you can&#;t enter them yet). You&#;ll notice bunkers 02/03 and 07/08 are right next to one another, so you&#;ll want to remember that when you stop by. Below is a more detailed description of each location.

Bunker South of Promenade West

Bunker 00 is located in the south section of Promenade West. It&#;s just below a small cliff that leads to the out-of-bounds area. This bunker is super easy to miss, so just make sure you&#;re thorough when looking for it, and be careful of going out of bounds or falling off the cliff.

Bunker Kart racing track

Northwest of the previous bunker, you&#;ll find Bunker It&#;s located north of the go-kart track after you go down some steps. Look for a smaller structure that contains this bunker, slightly southwest of the Boneyard.

Bunker 02/Bunker Junkyard

Bunkers 02 and 03 are located right next to one another. You&#;ll find 02 in another outside structure, much like the last bunker. It&#;s south of 03 and southwest of Storage Town. As for Bunker 03, it can be found just slightly north of 02, in a large building. Once you enter the building, head to the right and drop down the ladder to find Bunker

Bunker Summit

You&#;ll find Bunker 04 southeast of Summit (where Dam was previously located), to the north of some smaller trailers. Unlike the last few bunkers, this door is right outside, so there&#;s no need to look for a larger building that contains it. Look for it in the cliffs.

Bunker Arklov Peak Military Base

The next bunker is located south of the Military Base, near a radio tower. Again, you&#;ll find it outside, much like Bunker 04, along some cliffs. This bunker is found near a high-traffic area. Be cautious if you plan to visit this one, as players from Military Base can easily come up behind you.

Bunker Bloc 18 (not accessible during season 2)

To locate Bunker 06, head southeast of Salt Mine (previously Quarry). You&#;ll notice a large train tunnel to its left &#; make sure you don&#;t confuse the two. Bunker 06 is just above the train tunnel, to its left. You&#;ll find it outside.

Bunker 07/Bunker Karst Bridge

This is the other set of two. You&#;ll find them northeast of the Stadium, but be careful, as this is a high-traffic area. This set is similar to the format of Bunkers 02 and Bunker 07 is found in the smaller building, and you&#;ll need to go down some steps to locate it. Bunker 08 is in the larger structure, and you&#;ll have to enter it and go down a ladder. The bunker doors are right across from one another. It&#;s best to avoid these two bunkers if possible since they&#;re found in such a busy area.

Bunker Zordaya prison complex

Just northeast of the prison, you&#;ll find Bunker 09 on the side of a cliff. This bunker door is outside, to the east of the large bridge that exits the prison.

Bunker Styor Spomenik

Bunker 10 is located west of the last, near the large spiral staircase that overlooks the park. You&#;ll find it just off the main road that leads to Downtown. The bunker entrance is part of a larger structure, so enter it and go down some stairs to find the door.

Bunker Bloc 23

The 11th and final bunker is in the far north section of the map, northwest of the Military Base. You&#;ll find it outside on the side of a cliff, to the north of the fire station. This was previously only accessible by solving the Morse Code riddle, but now that none of the bunkers are accessible, we&#;ll have to wait for a future update to get inside.

Rebirth Island bunker

The famous bunker at Rebirth Island remains in the Headquarters area following the Season 3 update. You used to have to complete an elaborate Easter egg to gain access to this bunker, though, at this time, it&#;s unclear if this process is still the same following the recent update. Based on our testing, we were unable to locate the briefcases needed for the Easter egg, so it&#;s likely it has been changed. We&#;ll continue to update this post as we find more information about the Rebirth Island bunker.

What other secrets are there?

Across Verdansk &#;84 are a handful of teases toward potential new secrets, especially if you visit the Salt Mine area. As part of the overview of Verdansk &#;84 map on the Call of Duty website, Activision mentions that these entrances are &#;currently sealed,&#; implying that they will be opened at some point in the future. It&#;s unconfirmed if this is true, but the doors are just begging to be opened, and it&#;s likely we&#;ll find out what&#;s beyond them soon.

Aside from that, there are a few gated areas around Salt Mine that you can look into, each with a tunnel that veers off to the side, hiding what it contains. The mine on the west side of the map close to Airport also has a small tunnel with rubble that seems to be blocking a path that might be uncovered later on. In short, Verdansk &#;84 has a ton of secrets that will probably be uncovered as the game gets updated.

Here's everything you need to know about Call of Duty Warzone's bunkers

If you're looking for god-tier loot to boost your odds of securing that win in Call of Duty Warzone, look no further than the bunkers hidden all around Verdansk. While they've been in the game since it launched way back in March, the mysterious vaults only became accessible in the last few months… which means it's only now players have been able to investigate them and discover their secrets.

So if you've been puzzled by what the bunkers are for and how to enter them, here's everything players have found out so far about Call of Duty Warzone's bunkers.

What are Warzone's bunkers, and where can I find them?

COD Warzone bunker locations

Like Fortnite and Apex Legends, Warzone's bunkers are mysterious vaults that hold a wealth of luscious loot, including piles of money that will enable you to pick up even more advantageous gear from the buy stations.

There are 11 bunkers in all, most of which are found towards the outer edges of the map (map above comes courtesy of u/bubblesandbattleaxes on Reddit). The good news is that most can be found near Verdansk's key locations, which means you don't necessarily have to go out of the way to find one. Just keep an eye out for their massive steel doors with horizontal yellow stripes on them.

That said, some are easier to locate than others – not all are out in the open – and some are bonafide hot spots that attract the attention of a lot of players, so always keep an eye out for hidden enemies in or around those parts of the map.

How do I open Warzone's bunkers?

To access most bunkers, you'll need a Red Access Card. These spawn at random and can be picked up organically – if rarely – as you loot, and while there's no one particular way to guarantee finding one, keep an eye out for Legendary crates – they're much more likely to spawn in one of those. You'll also find them on the unlucky corpses of your enemies, so don't be afraid of engaging with competitor players – it might just pay off. Literally.

Once you have a card, check the map and head to your nearest vault. If it's got a green light, use your card against the keypad on the right-hand side of the door, and you and your squadmates will have access to the goodies within.

Well. Hopefully. The more players left in your lobby, the higher the chance an enemy combatant will camp nearby to try to steal your access card. Therefore, make sure you're cautious when approaching a bunker, and don't be afraid to bug out and locate another if it looks sketchy - better safe than sorry, right?

There's one exception, of course. Bunker 11 – which is located in the north of Verdansk, north-west from the military base – requires a little more work to get that door open. More on that in a bit.

What's inside Warzone's bunkers?

Loot! Lots and lots of lovely loot, courtesy of the Legendary Supply Boxes, blueprints, and piles of wonderful cash.

Once you've cleared the place, don't hang around – enemy squads will be only too happy to relieve you of that extra money, so get out ASAP and spend it as soon as you can get to a convenient buy station.

How do I enter Bunker 11?

COD Warzone bunker header

Bunker 11 requires a little more work to get it open. While all other ten bunkers can be opened with a Red Access Card, the vault near the military base will send you on a wild trip across Verdansk to listen to telephones and test your Russian language skills. Yes, really.

As detailed by this helpful soul on Reddit, the first step is to scour the map to find phones that will give you a secret message. If you hear a dial tone you're not in the right place, so keep checking across all these locations until you hear someone at the other end of the line speaking Russian.

The mysterious voice will tell you three numbers in Russian at the end of the brief call. If your Russian is, er, rusty, panic not – the good people at Reddit have you covered with this helpful map courtesy of u/StrangerRobijn:

Warzone bunkers, phones, and laptops

This is where it all gets a little complicated. The three numbers will correspond with ten phones across the map, each one representing the numbers zero to ten. To proceed, you must visit the numbered phones in the order the Russian informant gave you over the phone. Once there, interact with each phone, and then move on to the next one that represents the right number in the sequence.

If you accidentally go to the wrong one, the puzzle will reset, but try not to panic – you should be able to reset the quest by returning to the first number again.

Going to these phones will also provide you with number tips in morse code, but if you're following the guide above, you shouldn't need to do anything else. Once you've reached the third phone, head on over to bunker 11 and grab your goodies – you've earned them!

If the light isn't green, you may have made a mistake, and the bunker door won't budge. Just head back to the first phone and start over.

What's in Bunker 11?

As for what you'll get? Amongst the usual loot and money – of which there'll be plenty – you'll also find a rare blueprint for a Mud Drauber SMB, a secret server room, and a mysterious nuclear warhead that you can't do anything with… yet. Who knows what a future update will hold though, eh?

Where to find the new Warzone Season 6 bunkers

Looking for the Warzone bunkers and their locations? While Verdansk has a long history with bunkers, we no longer have access to the original Verdansk map or its loot-filled bunkers, thanks to the nuke event that ushered in the Cold War era. But as the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard draws closer—and with the arrival of Season 6—we've got new World War 2-themed bunkers to explore.

We still need to discover which of the old bunkers—if any—have carried over, but you can check further down for all the codes for the original Verdansk map, just in case. For the new Warzone Season 6 bunkers, read on.

Season 6 bunkers

Warzone Season 6 bunkers

Three new World War 2-era bunkers have appeared in Verdansk with the launch of Season 6. You don't need special codes to access them this time around, and they don't appear to offer much in the way of rewards, aside from some fairly average items and supply boxes.

Here's a list of the bunker locations, or you can check the map below:

  • Just northwest of Radar Array
  • North of the Airport Maintenance area
  • North of the silos inside the Boneyard

Each bunker appears to have two entrances. One of these is by way of a red shipping container found at each location—which helpfully makes them easy to spot. You should find cables to attach your climbing device inside, allowing you to lower yourself down from the surface. The second entrance is via one of the fissures that have opened up across Verdansk.

All Warzone bunker codes: Every location and combination

We may no longer have access to the bunkers from , but from here is the old information, just in case they return.

The Warzone bunker codes are:

  • Prison -
  • Farmland -
  • South Junkyard -
  • North Junkyard -
  • Park (nuke) -
  • TV Station -

As part of the Call of Duty: Cold War reveal, bunkers were added that required codes, rather than a Red Access Card. If you're after the original bunkers that don't require a code, scroll down to the section further down this page. Otherwise, take a look at the video above to see these newer bunker locations, or check out the map below. Don't worry, unlike the stadium bunker, these Warzone bunker codes are all fixed.

Warzone bunkers: The original locations

Below is a list of every original Warzone bunker location. If you're looking for the newer bunkers which require Warzone codes to access, scroll back up this page to the section above.

You can also take a look at the map above if you need a visual reference—though do be aware that some locations are close together so the indicators on the map may be a little off. If you're unsure, the descriptions below should make things clearer.

  • On the coast south of Promenade West, head down the cliff as if you're going out of bounds to find the path to this mischievously hidden spot.
  • North of the go-kart track and southwest of Boneyard.
  • Drive north along the road from the previous bunker.
  • Right next to bunker 02, but you'll need to drop through a trap door.
  • Southeast of Dam, in the cliffs above the large Russian sign.
  • On the west side of Crash Site.
  • On the far east side of the map between Quarry and Lumber, above the train tunnel.
  • East of TV station, northeast of Stadium. Look for another trap door.
  • Opposite bunker 07, head down the steps inside.
  • Northeast of Prison, cut into the cliff below the bridge.
  • South of Tavorsk Park on Verdansk's southern edge.

How to get into a non-keypad Warzone bunker

If you want to access the loot inside a non-keypad bunker, you'll first need to find a Red Access Card. These cards are fairly rare and can only be found inside legendary crates, and even then they're not a guaranteed drop. But securing an access card is only half the battle, you now need to make it to a bunker in one piece.

This is easier said than done as players will flock to these locations in the hope of nabbing the goodies for themselves. And there is always the threat of chancers looking to steal your card before you have the chance to use it. If you make it to the Warzone bunker in one piece—congratulations. Have fun looting your rewards.

If you're looking to find the secrets contained within Warzone bunker 11, you'll find more details on that below.

Bunker 11 works differently from the other bunkers you'll find in Warzone. It's located to the northwest of the Military Base and you don't need a keycard to access it. There's quite a lot of work involved to grab the loot inside and you'll need to track down a number of phones and learn to translate Russian—though looking at the reference below might be the easier alternative.

It's not just a case of finding any old phone. You'll need to track down a phone playing a message in Russian—any of the phones marked by blue icons on the map above is potentially the right one. Once you've found it and listened to the message, the list below will help you translate the Russian numbers. Once you've noted them down, you can continue with the next step.

  • 0: &#;&#;&#;&#; ("nohl")
  • 1: &#;&#;&#;&#; ("a-deen")
  • 2: &#;&#;&#; ("dva")
  • 3: &#;&#;&#; ("tree")
  • 4: &#;&#;&#;&#;&#;&#; ("chye-tir-ye")
  • 5: &#;&#;&#;&#; ("pyat")
  • 6: &#;&#;&#;&#;&#; ("shest")
  • 7: &#;&#;&#;&#; ("syem")
  • 8: &#;&#;&#;&#;&#;&#; ("vo-syem")
  • 9: &#;&#;&#;&#;&#;&#; ("dyev-yat")

Now you have the three numbers, check the map above to find the numbers. These correspond with the specific phones, so it should be easy to work out which ones you need to look for. You need to visit these in the order that you hear them in the original message. Visit each one and listen to the messages that they play.

How to access the Warzone stadium bunker

If you're wondering how to access the stadium bunker, you're going to need a Warzone bunker code to access it. But as the code changes with each match, you'll have to go through the same process each time. For more details, check out this Warzone stadium access code guide—but brace yourself to get through multiple keycard doors if you want to claim the rewards inside.

Warzone Airport bunker location

New bunker in verdansk from r/CODWarzone

The airport bunker was added with the launch of Cold War Season 1 and you won't need a code to get inside. You need to locate the crack in the runway at Verdansk Airport and jump inside. You should find a tunnel that leads to an abandoned Soviet bunker, full to the brim with supply crates. The video above, from Reddit user Mundoschristmas, shows the exact location.

The main issue with this bunker is its very public location. There's a lot of loot stashed there which is hard for players to ignore, so expect a lot of competition if you're heading for the runway in search of those rewards.

Warzone WW2 bunker locations and other Season 6 map changes explained

WW2 bunker locations headline a series of Warzone map changes.

Following on from a very modest map update in Season 5 - which saw the addition of mobile broadcast stations - Season 6 has undergone some literal seismic changes which has left some named locations in ruins, and revealing new WW2 bunkers in others.

This page shows where to find these changes on Warzone's map. If you want to learn more about what else is new in Warzone with our Season 6 Battle Pass skins page, which also features Vanguard weapons STG 44 and M1 Garand.

On this page:

Warzone WW2 bunker locations at a glance and bunkers explained

There are three WW2 bunkers which can now be explored in Verdansk. They are at the following locations:

These bunkers are, from what we can tell, identical from one another, in the sense they have two entrances - one hidden under some red shipping containers which you rappel down into, and another a fissure in the ground - and that they layouts are the same.

Inside, you can see some WW2-era surroundings, including flags and ordnance, and an air vent halfway through you can crawl through to get the jump on other players who might be nearby.

Otherwise - at launch - there's not much of interest at these locations. The loot is modest, and unlike the bunkers during the Modern Warfare era, have no hidden codes or secrets to uncover. That said, these are clearly designed to tease the arrival of the WW2-set Vanguard - so it's possible they might have a more prominent role to play yet.

If you want to pay bunkers a visit, as mentioned, the easiest way to find the bunker location is to look for the tower of red shipping containers. These are visible from above as you parachute into the map, and from there, you can work out the other fissure entrance if they are proving a little too popular.

The specific WW2 bunker locations are as follows:

You can find the rappel entrance underneath the red shipping containers on the north-east edge of Airport:

The fissure entrance is to the south, more on the outside of airport and closer to the roads:

As well as the addition of WW2 bunkers, the following fissures and areas of destruction has been applied elsewhere across the map:

  • Downtown (the parliament building and 'Nakatomi Plaza' have survived intact)
  • Stadium (a fissure runs through the carpark and into the stands
  • Minor factures south-east of Array and in the Hospital / Promenade East areas

Between changing some of the more prominent named locations and added hidden bunkers, there's a fair bit to see in Season 6 - and it'll be interested to see whether there is more to come in the weeks ahead of Vanguard's launch
