Maplestory 2 Knight Guide With Skill Build and Equipment
Maplestory 2 Knight looks like a meat shield profession, responsible for attracting monsters, the damage is not high, but in Dungeons, Knight can not only help the team to gather monsters but also increase team damage, increase team defense, open invincible to resist monster high damage skills, etc. At the same time, the output will not be lower than other equipment in the same Equipment, which is the advantage of Knight. However, Knight is a melee class. In Dungeons, you need to chase monsters frequently. You need to have a specific operational ability and team awareness. Therefore, you can choose strength in your ability to attribute points. You can select the defense and attack talents. Add points according to personal preferences.

MapleStory 2 Knight Skill and Build Guide
While choosing the Knight as your class may look like you’re signing up to be a meat shield for your fellow party members, the truth is it’s more than just that. In Maplestory 2, Knights are considered to be the tanksand are focused on debuffing enemies all the while buffing their allies and saving them from rather precarious situations. Just because you’re a tank doesn’t mean you don’t deal any damage though. Knights can also be played for DPS because of their high damaging skills. But overall,it’s best if a Knight gets to defend in such cases as when you’re in a party.
The Knights in MapleStory 2 Mesos are focused around Strength and Health, allowing you to pick and adjust which attribute you want more of. Strength is more damage-based while Health is geared for tanking capabilities. The best thing about Attribute allocation here is that Attribute Point resets are free, so you can always test which option works best for you. For instance, when in a raid that has a boss with high damage capabilities, you might want to have more Health. It’s important to alter the allocation of your Attribute Points based on what you’re currently doing in game.
Basic Knight Build
A basic Knight Build is perhaps the most generic one that you can find throughout all the classes. However, this build works great for just about any content and, more importantly, it is beginner-friendly so leveling up shouldn’t be a problem. For this build, it’s best to keep Iron Defense open all the time and use the Warhorn to increase the overall team damage when you’re in a party. Having Typhoon Slash as the main skill helps considerably when dealing damage and whenever your team is in a bit of a bind. You should have Bulwark as well for you to be tanky enough. All in all, this build is 50% on Health and 50% on Strength, giving you the best of both worlds.
Tanky Knight Build
A more defensive Knight Build sacrifices some damage for extra health and survivability which is common and appreciated in party play. For this, Shield Wall, Warhorn, Bulwark, and Defender of the Faith are great spells that should be in your kit at all times. Use Warhorn to have a bit of a boost to your damage, Shield Toss to reduce your enemy’s defenses and then go all in with Divine Strike and Stinging Flurry to deal some major damage. An alternative would be to use Macro Divine Strike plus Stinging Flurry instead if you find yourself in a bit of trouble.
Support Knight Build: Perfect for Raids & Dungeons
Depending on the Dungeon or Raid that you’re going into, it’s better to alter your build in accordance with whatever is needed. An example would be if a Dungeon has more monsters that have AoE attacks. In such cases, having Bulwark and Defender of the Faith would prove to be a good choice. Choosing to be a Support type of Knight isn’t easy, especially for newcomers of the class since you have to know the Boss’ abilities and deftly analyze when the right time to cast your own abilities is so you can effectively shield your allies.
When in the game, first pop Warhorn for a boost of damage to you and your allies, then use Shield Toss to lower enemy defenses. If your allies are in grave danger, cast Iron Defense and Bulward or Defender of the Faith to keep them alive enough to heal.
The knight is a class that does well in PvE, providing a lot of useful utilities for defense and attack all the while dishing out a decent amount of damage. Having a Knight is useful in a party. In PvP mode, Knights are considered to be in the mid-tier class that can perform well depending on the matchups. While playing as a Knight isn’t flashy or particularly interesting, it’s a class that others can easily get into without any trouble.

Maplestory 2 Knight Build Guide
Maplestory 2 Knights are the equivalent of a "tank" character in other MMORPGs, therefore they are focused on debuffing enemies, and most importantly, buffing allies whilst saving them out of dangerous situations. Knights can also be played for DPS because their skills really do high damage but in party play it's preferable to have a Knight that will defend the damage dealers such as Assassins, Wizards and Heavy Gunners while they dish out damage. The best part about a Knight is the fact that they have two skills that can grant them, and allies, invulnerability to most attacks. This MS2 Knight Build Guide will teach you how to build the strongest Knight in order to clear any of the highest level content available.

The MS2 Knights are based around Strength and Health, you can pick whichever you like more. Strength is more damage based whilst Health is for more tanking capabilities. I'd personally recommend placing 100 AP into Strength and then go into Health with any excess points you may have.
Attribute Point resets are free in GMS2 so you can always test what works best for you, for some content that has high damage hitting bosses you might prefer to have more Health, that can be easily achieved! Alter your Attribute Points for the content that you're doing.

Knight Basic DPS Build
This Maplestory 2 Knight Build is the most generic DPS one you can find. It works great for any content and most importantly it's beginner friendly therefore leveling with it should not be a problem.
This Knight Build is based around Drill Thrust, Divine Strike and Shield Toss to obtain the highest possible DPS. With this build you sacrifice both of the invulnerability spells for more damage so be careful when playing this in high level content where you can die easily.
Pretty straightforward, Shield Toss to reduce your enemy's Defenses and then melt them down with Drill Thrust, Divine Strike and Cross Cut depending on the situation (you sometimes won't like the Drill Thrust).
Knight DPS Build Tankier Variant
The more defensive oriented Knight Damage Build sacrifices some damage for extra survivability which is greatly appreciated in party play. Shield Wall, Warhorn, Bulwark and Defender of the Faith are great spells to have in your Knight's kit at all times.
Use Warhorn to boost your damage, Shield toss to reduce enemy's defenses and then burst them down with Divine Strike and Stinging Flurry (once Divine Strike is on cooldown just spam Stinging Flurry until it comes back up). You can also Macro Divine Strike and Stinging Flurry if you're lazy.
Knight Support DPS Build
This MS2 Knight Build is a hybrid between the Support and DPS ones. The gameplay is sort of similar to the Knight DPS Build Tankier variant one from above but with a focus on Typhoon Slash and Cross Cut.
Knight Full Support Raid/Dungeon Build
Depending on the Dungeon or Raid that you're doing it might be better to alter these Knight Builds to your needs. For example, if a Dungeon has monsters which do more AoE hits then having Bulwark and Defender of the Faith would be better. Playing a Support Knight may not be optimal for new players because you have to know the Boss abilities and cast times of your own so you can effectively shield your allies.
Pop Warhorn to boost damage of you and your allies, Shield Toss to reduce enemy defenses. Afterwards, Iron Defense/Iron Shield/Shield Wall and Bulwark or Defender of the Faith whenever you know your allies are in grave danger. Note that you can use Typhoon Slash as a monster pull ability so you group them up for your allies to decimate them!
Knight Support Build Defensive Variant
This Knight Build is basically the same like the one above, but with more defenses rather than attack. Use this build if you know that you can't deal enough damage to justify leveling DPS skills and just provide your party with a huge boost to their survivability instead.
