Fortnite: Where To Hunt A Wolf (Season 8)

Players will need to hunt a wolf for a Fortnite season 8 challenge. As the season progresses, players will notice that more Character Quests are added to the game. Currently, only three new characters have been added to the season since it began, but each one comes along with its own set of challenges for players to complete. This is easily one of the fastest ways for players to level up in season 8. The most recent character to join the roster is Grim Fable, a character that has all of their challenges themed around a variety of different fairy tales.

Before players can start this questline, they will first need to find Grim Fable. Fortunately, the game makes it super easy to find her exact location. She can be found wandering about in Weeping Woods. Speak with her and accept the first quest. Each mission will provide players with 30,000 XP towards their Battle Pass. This is great for players looking to unlock the Carnage skin in Fortnite, one of the most difficult skins to collect this season.

These are all of Grim Fable's challenges.

  • Hide in a haystack at Corny Crops: 30K XP.
  • Destroy three beds in Holly Hedges or Pleasant Park: 30K XP.
  • Collect a harpoon gun: 30K XP.
  • Hunt a wolf: 30K XP.
  • Emote within 10m of wildlife: 30K XP.

The challenge to 'hunt a wolf' is the fourth challenge in her questline. Wolves have been a staple since the Primal season, and have continued to remain in the game ever since. For this challenge, players just need to hunt for a single wolf.

Where To Find A Wolf in Fortnite Season 8

Fortnite players will have the best chance of finding a wolf by heading over to Boney Burbs. This is a location that was added to the game during the Primal season. Before encountering them, players will want to find a weapon and some shields. This is mainly because attacking a wolf will summon his pack and surround the player. This might make it easier to complete the challenge, but wolves do have the power to kill the player if they aren't careful.

In the situation where a wolf does not appear, players can also head over to Weeping Woods. Wolves do have a chance at spawning in this location. Just eliminate a single wolf to earn 30,000 XP for Fortnite's Battle Pass. This will also unlock the final challenge in Grim Fable's line-up. Complete these as they become available to avoid falling behind this season.

Fortnite: Where to Hunt Wildlife in Wildlands Survival

By Jessica Orr

Find out the quickest and easiest place to hunt wildlife while playing the Wildlands Survival mode in Fortnite to clear an Island Quest.

Fortnite has added a new set of Epic Quests that plucks players from the traditional battle royale gameplay and places them in fan-made creative modes. Wildlands Survival is one of these featured LTMs and takes its inspiration from games like Runescape, encouraging players to fish, mine, kill, and hunt their way to level up.

One of the Island Games Quests players must complete while in this mode is to hunt wildlife. Boars and chickens can be found roaming in many areas, but there is one spot in particular that can be farmed to clear this Epic Quest very quickly.

Preparing to Hunt Wildlife

Before heading to the best spot to hunt wildlife in Fortnite Wildlands Survival, players will need at least 500 ammo for an Assault Rifle or SMG. To buy ammo, players need coins, which can be obtained in a variety of ways. Twenty coins will be enough to get 500 rounds.

If Wildlands Survival players need coins in Fortnite, the quickest way to get them is to fish or cut wood. As wood takes time to respawn, fishing will be the most reliable way to get coins fast in Wildlands Survival. If players don't see a Fishing Rod, they can pick one up for free, or one can be bought by any fishing spot for five coins.

Once the Fishing Rod is obtained, go to a Level 1 fishing spot and start casting. Three Floppers, Five Small Fry, or one Vendetta Fish can be exchanged for five coins at Town or the various exchange points dotted about the map.

Once enough coins are obtained, head to Town to spend the coins for the correct type of ammo at the Fortnite vending machines found outside the Shop.

Quickest and Easiest Way to Hunt Wildlife in Fortnite Wildlands Survival

Once enough ammo has been bought, go to the large fishing spot close to Earth Clan, southeast on the map. To the north of this lake are Level 3 and Level 4 fishing spots; head east past them, along the lake's edge to the spawn point of a boar beside a tree.

Stay at a safe distance and eliminate the boar. After a few seconds, it will respawn again. As long as players have enough ammo, they should be able to repeat this process thirty times and clear the hunt wildlife quest in Fortnite Wildlands Survival very easily.

Completing this Epic Quest will reward players with 30K XP and count towards Island Game Quest completions needed to claim unique cosmetics. Other LTMs will have to be played to get these rewards, with their own quests, like dealing damage while inside a Prevalent Sedan. Nine out of the fifteen total missions need to be cleared to unlock all of the rewards.

Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

How and where to hunt Predators in Fortnite – complete the Chapter 2 Season 6 Week 12 Challenge

As Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 draws to a close, players are stalking around the game’s iconic map and trying to hunt Predators. But how and where can you actually do this, and which animals count as Predators in the weird world of Fortnite?

This unique mission is part of the current set of Fortnite weekly challenges, and it’s thankfully not quite as difficult as it sounds.

Wolves and Raptors are the two types of Predators in Fortnite, and both of them roam around the map at various locations. So if you play a few rounds of Battle Royale, and explore the map fairly thoroughly, you should be able to find a Wolf or a Raptor eventually. But if you want some more specific tips, read on.

How and where to hunt Predators in Fortnite

If you’re wondering where to hunt for Predators in Fortnite, there are a few spots on the map you’ll want to try: there’s one spot just to the east of Craggy Cliffs, or you could try the area to the south of Sweaty Sands, or you could search the road between Retail Row and Catty Corner.

Your best bet is to choose one of these locations and head there multiple times over a series of matches. You might not spot a Raptor or a Wolf the first time, but you should find one eventually. In the video below, you’ll see a skilled player doing exactly this!

Once you’ve found a Predator, how do you actually hunt it? The definition of hunting is quite simple – you just need to kill the creature, basically. So use whatever weapon you have handy and attack any Predators you can find.

The weekly challenge says that you need to “hunt predators x3” so make sure you find and kill three Wolves or Raptors, which should be enough to complete the task and earn that sweet XP. Just make sure you get it done before Fortnite Season 7 kicks off on Tuesday!
